How does your service work?
Our service is simple. We offer delivery from your favorite restaurants to your home, office, or hotel, for a marginal delivery fee. You may place the order on-line or download our free mobile app from your phone's app store. Our professional mobile waiters will then deliver your quality, fresh restaurant food to your door in a timely manner.
Where does Trojan Take Out deliver?
Trojan Take Out delivers to the entire Alleghany County, NC. Delivery and Service fees vary depening on zip code of delivery area and food total.
How do I order?
You may place your order either on-line, or download our free mobile app from your phone's app store. Click on the help tab to read more. You can place orders for immediate delivery or schedule a order to be delivered in the future!
Do the mobile waiters accept tips?
The mobile waiters work for gratuity just like restaurant waiters. Tips are a large portion of the mobile watier's income. A 15 % gratuity is standard, however, you may tip as much as you like.
What is the Distance Fee?
Trojan Take Out reserves the right to add a Distance fee (up to $3.99) to any order that is more than 15 miles from the restaurant. This potential fee is only for customers in the 28675 zip code, all other areas delivery fees have already incorporated their distance.
Can I place orders from multiple restaurants?
Yes, you may order from as many restaurants as you like. Your delivery fee will duplicate for every additional restaurant minus a $1.50 discount per restaurant that will automatically apply. Example: If your delivery fee is $3.99 and you wanted to order from 3 restaurants the delivery fee would be $11.97 ($3.99 x 3) minus $1.50 discount per extra restaurant ($3.00) Equallling $8.97 Total delivery fee.
What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. When ordering online your credit card info will be saved for easy check out if you choose to use the same card. We will accept cash payments temporarily.
Why do I have to set up an account?
We simply need to know where we are delivering to and who the customer is in case we need to contact you for any reason. You will also gets email receipts and notifications of the status of your order. Your order history is also saved in your account for a quick and simple reference if you would like to order the same dish. In your order history you can also look up all recent orders and review your receipts.
My order is missing something. Why didn't the driver check the order?
For reasons of food safety, our drivers are not permitted to check your order for correctness. This ensures that your food is not handled between the time the restaurant packages it and the time you open it. While this makes mistakes harder to catch, it also helps preserve the quality of your food. If this occurs please call Trojan Take Out first, NOT the restaurant. Since you placed you order with us the correct process is for us to contact the restaurant and review the order to first make sure it was not a mistake made between Trojan Take Out and the restaurant. Once the mistake has been verified we can negotiate with the restaurant as to how to resolve the issue. Then we will contact you and give you a few options as to how you would like to be compensated for the inconvenience.

I have a problem with my order, what should I do?
If there are any problems with your order you must call us within 15 minutes of receiving your order. We will confirm with the restaurant regarding the mistake. Once we verify that there is a problem we will either redeliver the missing/incorrect item or refund you the amount. If our Mobile Waiter has to redeliver, you must give them the incorrect item. If the incorrect item is not provided or is correct after inspection, you will be charged for both items.
Is my coupon to (restaurant name) valid to use with Trojan Take Out?
No. Only Trojan Take Out coupons are valid with our delivery orders.
How do I add Special Request like no onions or extra cheese?
Once you've added an item to your cart you will need to click on 'Customize' then type in your special request.
Please note that any special requests you make may incur additional fees at the restaurants discretion. For example, many restaurants charge for extra items like cheese and sauces or substitutions of side items.
Why might it take an hour to receive my food
Please understand that your order is individually prepared by the restaurant after we
receive it. This isn't Fast Food! Oftentimes it may take up to an hour to receive your order. Here
is what's happening during that time:
In the first 5-10 minutes after we receive your order, we review it, process your payment and
place your order with the restaurant.
It takes 15-25 minutes to for the restaurant cook your food.
It takes us 10-25 minutes to deliver the food.
This means that in the best-case, we can get your food to you in 30 minutes. We quote an hour
so that if the kitchen is backed-up because it's a busy night or traffic is bad because of a ball
game we aren't promising you something that we can't deliver. If the weather is terrible, please
allow 10-15 extra minutes everyone else in town is ordering too! We do not offer refunds for
orders that take longer than our quoted time.
Why was my credit card billed twice?
If you order by credit card or debit card you may see two charges on your card if you view your
activity online. Rest assured that your card will only actually be charged once. If you look
carefully at your online activity, you should see that one of these is a pending or temporary
charge. Some banks may call it temporary authorizations or pending charges. When we
authorize your card for a purchase, your card is actually authorized for more than your total in
order to leave room for a tip (should you choose to leave a tip on your credit card). You may be
familiar with this process if you have looked at your statement soon after you used your card at a
restaurant, rented a car or stayed in a hotel. At the end of the night, your card is only charged the
actual amount that you signed for on the credit card slip, including a tip, if you left one.
Unfortunately, some banks do not release this hold on your funds for 24 to 48 business hours,
even though our transaction has already been completed. Because this temporary often larger
hold remains on your statement even after the actual charge has been processed, it gives the
appearance that your card was charged twice.
This temporary hold should automatically disappear in 24-48 business hrs.
We realize that this process unfairly prevents you from accessing your funds, especially if you
used a debit card. We believe that the banks should not be able to hold your funds in this way. If
you agree with us, please complain to your bank, your congressperson, and the Attorney
What is your refund policy
We do not offer refunds, as we must pay the restaurant for their food once they have prepared it.
If you have any problems with your order please contact the dispatcher by phone. We will make
every effort to correct any problems with your order as quickly as possible.
Can I split payments among my friends
Yes we do allow a split payment option.
What are your hours?
Our current hours are Friday and Saturday 4:00pm - 9:00pm. It is between these hours that you can place your order as soon as or as late as.
Can I cancel my order?
Once the order has been sent to the restaurant, it cannot be cancelled. Please contact one of our operations managers to cancel any advanced orders.
How do I remove specific ingredients or add special requests for an entree while using the online ordering service?
When you choose an item, there will be a customize order button. Click customize order and type which things you would like to remove or which special request you would like to add.For example, if your sandwich normally comes with tomatoes and you would like to remove them, you would click customize order and type no tomato.
